"Rooms, service, location! all a big plus!
Our first impression was the size of the rooms. We had stayed at the scarlet several months back and enjoyed our stay; however, felt the rooms were very small. The club has spacious rooms. During our stay, we were upgraded to a suite because the manager informed us of a potential water problem, which was very considerate. We thought our original room was very nice and roomy; rooms are very bright because of windows and white paint. It also has a whimsical feel that makes you feel warm inside. Location can't be beat. Great eateries, shops, and close to the MRT. I will definitely come back to stay at the club!
Very nice hotel!"
- Emerson M., United States of America, Couple, March 31, 2011
"Very nice interior, twin beds turned out to be a bit tiny so I opted to change to a double bed, which finally was possible. Hotel bar is very nice as well, but it was rather quiet (but could have been because it was a Monday night). Very close to lots of restaurants and bars."
- Bart V., Belgium, Solo Traveler, March 29, 2011
"Small but very stylish. Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, close to eating spots
We arrived very early in the morning, and the staff was able to accommodate us in a transition room, which was very kind of them because we could rest until our room was being prepared. It is a beautiful and stylish hotel. The rooms are small, but very tastefully designed."
- Saleem Q., Pakistan, Family with young children, March 26, 2011
"Loved the old town location. Neighborhood, Food options, excellent staff
Pros: Comfortable & modern. Le Chocolat & Tapas were nice spots to have casual business discussions. Staff was really attentive & fun. From reception to restaurants/cafe. Great neighborhood to walk around and enjoy the architecture."

"Good hotel with good staff and professionalism, very good service personality.
The stay was comfortable and location was ideal for food and amenities. The staff were very attentive staff. They in spite of their own work went out of their way to help 2 senior citizens load our baggage’s. 'kodos' to the hotel for the prompt service and rooms were well maintained."
- Kok C., Singapore, Couple, March 21, 2011
"Clean room, smells fresh, beautiful hotel interior, nice rooftop bar upstairs, friendly and smiley staff . Really love this beautiful hotel, I have no bad review at all for this hotel. Would totally recommend this boutique hotel to everyone."
- Angel A., Indonesia, Couple, March 19, 2011
"Big Hotel Room with a style. Located in CBD. Previously staying in scarlet, which is just opp the club. Decided to have a change of hotel as there has been a few unpleasant experiences there & no explanation given. The club is definitely bigger than the scarlet. Stayed in signature room, hence the room is even bigger than the executive room in scarlet. Room is marvelous, big king size bed, it’s at least 30sqm. As the room is black/white theme which makes the room big too. even the toilet is big...nice shower area."
- Wai K, Singapore, Business Traveler, March 18, 2011
"Smart hotel boutique hotel close to Chinatown. Spacious rooms, good shower, nice roof top bar. Close to Chinatown and other unique nightlife areas. This is a small but well presented boutique hotel. A little out of the way from the airport but close enough to the business district. Can be a little hard to find."
- Ben D., United Kingdom, Business Traveler, March 17, 2011
"Great surprise. Quiet location and really nice place.
Was completely surprised by the layout of the hotel. This is a boutique hotel with lovely rooms and bathrooms. Also very quiet and quaint location in Chinatown and many great boutique restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.."
- Tracy M., New Zealand, Business Traveler, March 15, 2011
"Large room in a great hotel in a great area.
Room was large, especially given that it is over in the Chinatown area where they usually are small.
Right off of Club Street which is a great area.
Very pleasantly surprised. Nice sized rooms, good rooftop bar, in a great area. Could not ask for more. Very helpful hotel staff.."
- Edward M., United States of America, Business Traveler, March 15, 2011
"Great hotel, great location, helpful staff, great roof top bar. This boutique hotel is in a great location for Club St and Chinatown. There are also a lot of nice bars and restaurants on Ann Siang road. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I really would recommend this hotel to people looking for a short stay in this location. The MRT stop is a little walk away, but there are plenty of buses and Maxwell St Hawker Centre is on a 2 minute walk away"
- Graeme D., United Kingdom, Couple, March 06, 2011
"Great Location and rooms nice. Great Location in the centre of Chinatown, next to two large hawkers centres as well as a lively bar and restaurant street. Rooms were a good size, showers were fantastic and a nice roof top bar with views over rooftops and the finance district."
- Emma R. United Kingdom, Couple, February 26, 2011
"Nice size bathrooms and simple uncluttered rooms. Love the location in one of the hippest yet quaint street in Singapore, amongst the mayhem of Chinatown yet perfectly measured, "civilized" and trendy"

A well run charming hotel with very helpful and pleasant service. Unusual room layout and lighting that made for a very interesting and enjoyable stay. The breakfast restaurant offers a good and wide selection where again the serving staff are attentive and helpful."

"Great location but our room was a little small .The black and white theme was nice, love the toilet design, great food nearby, lots of cafes/pubs around. The receptionist was very nice upon check-in; check-in process was very fast and fuss-free. Lots and lots of good food nearby."
- Christina Y. Singapore, Couple, February 20, 2011

"Central location, Modern boutique. Interesting Concept Rooms, Spacious for boutique Surrounded by little cafes, pubs and restaurants in refurbished shophouses that come alive at night, it's an interesting location and rather central. Rooms have interesting modern designer concepts and generally clean."
- Rachel M, Singapore, Couple, January 31, 2011
"The location of the hotel in Chinatown, you can walk to dinner MAXWELL FOOD CENTER. This is a concentrated market stall, walk 15 minutes to the financial district, if it is to act in the financial district would be convenient, the hotel is indeed capable general."

"Lovely hotel with amazing design. Amazing design, great location, nice rooftop bar, good service. Me and my friend were amazed with how lovely the design was. It was tucked in the nicest neighborhood, and we love the philosophical element of the hotel (eg. Nice quotes in every corner of the hotel). Very lovely rooftop bar. The martini was so good. Very nice, clean, and spacious room. We were always excited by the little details that the hotel provided. I would definitely come back for more. Excellent."
- Allesandra H. Indonesia, January 30, 2011
"The Club at the End of the Street! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Club. The staff were excellent. The rooms were small but very adequate and comfortable. The location of this establishment is great as its walking distance to the business district as well as Chinatown. We highly recommend this hotel for anything less than a week's stay."
- Richard L., Canada, Couple, January 18, 2011
"Top notch design. It might be a bit clinical for some, but for me the Black and White design theme works well in the space they have. Quite literally everything is black and white. Having said that, the overall design concept doesn't ever feel overdone for the sake of "boutique". A design success. Fantastically friendly staff, the rooftop bar adds some swank to the experience.
Located in a great little neighborhood. I would definitely return here."

"Stylish hotel in black n white with a nice room. The design is cool with details, equipments and room services are great and exceed average hip hotels, location is nice and not so far away to China Town MRT station, those who love night lives and have a couple of drinks would especially love it for sure . I'd recommend this hotel for those who appreciate design with details. The Club is a cozy small hotel which cannot compare to any international brand hotels with luxurious services. But this particularly suits young travellers who prefer to travel more around the city to explore instead of staying long inside the hotel. The Club is about 8-10 minutes walk to China Town MRT station and is just next door to 1-2 famous hip streets in Singapore. Small shops, pubs, food centre, China elements all around the corner!"
- Cho W. China, January 11, 2011
"Hotel of conservation style. centrally located, near nice food. A converted shophouse hotel which makes it pretty cozy. Conveniently located near nice food."

"Greeted by two friendly staff on December 31, 2010 at 1410hrs. Didn't get their name though. Helped me with my request and very prompted though the room I supposed to have wasn't available... Big big place... Room 304 is superb! Worth every penny... Got good deal from Booking.com."

"Nice design"
- Jean, Group of friends, Singapore, 29 December 2010
"Great hotel in cozy quiet area close to China town. Modern design rooms in traditional bed & breakfast kind of hospitality. It was great to stay at the club hotel with my girlfriend. It only takes 3 min by walk to reach to china town and you can go to Sentosa resort very quickly, even by a taxi it only cost or so. Very nice room in very quiet area, if you are like me who don't like big building hotels, it is really recommend. It has a bar and restaurant, but there is good restaurants in the area, small but nice, quiet again, it is good for the couples."
- Tsuyoshi O. Japan, Couple, December 28, 2010
"Very impressed. Large rooms with great interior designs. I really, really liked my stay here. Comfortable bed in a massive room. Quiet location, 3 minutes from CBD. Lots of good restaurants and nightlife just outside the door. The hotel's rooftop bar Ying Yang was especially nice - sit outside and enjoy the view - and had excellent staff. I have already booked my next trip."

"This is a truly wonderful hotel. The design, ambience and location surpass expectation."
- Anonymous, Mature couple, Australia, 25 October 2010
"The club in Singapore is a small hotel in what must be one of the best areas of Singapore, close to Chinatown and all the night noodle markets, but also right on top of all the best tapas, French wine bars etc that Singapore has to offer. The Hotel has its own groovy rooftop bar and a Spanish/tapas bar as well.
The rooms are designer chic, low slung beds, stark white walls and a striking black and white bathroom.
The aircon was spot on, cooling the room down within seconds, something you need in Singapore's humid climate and the front desk staff attentive and keen to help out when they can."
- Rossco234, Sydney, Australia, 15 October 2010
